The Big One A breakdown of the day's biggest Inno story Charlotte Inno's annual Tech Madness contest is back, and the competition is fierce in its second year.
The startups on this list are private companies that are either bootstrapped or venture-backed. Each "team" is seeded based on multiple factors, including funds raised, number of employees and insights from Inno's editorial staff.
Each round of voting is open to the public and based on one important question: Who would you invest in?
How you interpret that question is up to you.
Tech Madness is designed as a fun, friendly competition we hope will generate awareness and excitement for Charlotte's innovation ecosystem and the companies that make it special.
Round 1 voting is open now through March 14. (One vote per person, per day; read contest rules here.)
This year's bracket is comprised of 32 of the Queen City's fastest-growing, tech-enabled companies. Some of the companies are no stranger to the contest but many are appearing for the first time.
